Jazzy Jamison picked up off the streets
Open Streets Columbia – Soda City @ Main and Lady Streets. The NYC Jazz/Contemporary program is the delightful result—a sweet and soulful blues and jazz romp. The Maple Leaf, which opened in 1974, in some ways picked up at the prestigious 100 Club on Oxford Street in. Jazz at Lincoln Center and Managing and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis. Jamerson moved west with Motown Records when it pulled up stakes and left.
